Dear Mr. Jones: We are delighted that Mayor Barry will represent the U.S. Conference of Mayors as master of ceremonies at the N.O.D.- Westinghouse Electric Corporation Community Awards Presentation on Wednesday, April 29, 1987, 5:30 p.m. , Longworth House Office ' Building, Room 1100. As promised, here is the script for Mayor Barry. It provides the text of his remarks and the scenario of the event. If there are any questions, please call me: 293-5960. This is the script to be used. An earlier version given to the U.S. Conference of Mayors is not current. The Mayor will be met in front of the Longworth Building, Independence Ave. comer of New Jersey Ave., S.E. We sincerely hope that he can arrive by 5:25 p.m. As I mentioned on the phone this morning, we do not anticipate that the presentation of awards will take more than 45 minutes. A reception follows.
