FLORETTA MCKENZIE SAT DOWN WITH THE WASHINGTON BOARD OF TRADE AND THE CEOS OF INTERNATIONAL CORPORATIONS TO ELICIT THEIR SUPPORT FOR A MORE REALITY-BASED EDUCATION PROGRAM, IN THE DISTRICT SCHOOLS. HER VISION FOR CAREER-FOCUS HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAMS LATER EMERGED AS THE PUBLIC/PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP PROGRAMS-
